Remote Temperature Monitoring and Control is a multifunctional device for remote environmental monitoring and control, designed to work in Ethernet networks. It can be managed by WEB interface, SNMP programs and user applications. The controller can be used as standalone device or as a part of data acquisition(SCADA) systems.
RTM102 has two relays with normally open and normally close contacts. The both relays can be activated locally – from status of monitored parameters or remotely – by WEB interface, SNMP managers and HTTP/XML API commands.
RTM102 utilizes special schematic for long 1-Wire interface support, up to two temperature or temperature+humidity sensors can be connected. Along with ambient parameters, two analog voltages and status of two digital inputs can be monitored. For every parameter can be sent e-mail and/or SNMP trap for any alarm condition.
GSM/GPRS Based Temperature and Humidity Monitoring
Adaptek GSM/GPRS data loggers are used in many applications in various industries. These help in keeping a continuous watch and control sensitive data.
v Adaptek GSM/GPRS Temperature Monitoring device can have a built in modem to transmit data continuously to a central server. This central server stores the data for monitoring and report generation later on. But what is we want to retrieve data in a central control room from several remotely installed machines. The answer would be same - a wireless GSM/GPRS data logger/RTU but with a central server and front end web based application.
We have three components in this case:
Ø GSM/GPRS wireless Temp. Humidity Device: This GSM/GPRS device will get the data from the remotely installed machine through a sensor, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor.
Ø A Server Application Installed on a PC installed in the central control room: The PC would be connected to internet with a static IP. A server application is installed on the PC to receive data from several GSM/GPRS wireless data loggers/RTUs
Ø A Web Based Monitoring Interface: This interface receives data from the central server. You can select a GSM/GPRS wireless data logger/RTU on this screen.You can view live data in real time of selected GSM/GPRS wireless data logger.
v User can set SMS Alerts for Hi/Low values of parameters. SMS can be sent on Pre-Registered mobile Numbers.
v Once you insert the SIM card, it could alarm and report to user when the temperature and humidity goes above or below your preset value via call and sms.
v User could also send text to check the temperature and Humidity in real-time.
